Hi, I’m Elena — mom of three girls, entrepreneur, and lifelong fragrance obsessive. I’m 41 years old, I live in North Carolina, and I have been chasing beautiful scents since I was small enough to sneak into my mother’s room.
I still remember it vividly. Her bottle of Lancôme — French, elegant, sitting on her dresser. One day I knocked it over. It shattered. And instead of crying, I just stood there breathing it in. The whole room smelled like her, like something magical, for days. I was six years old. That was the moment I fell in love with perfume — and that love has never left me.
Over the past six years, I built a fragrance business that followed me across the world. Every place I lived taught me something new about fragrance, about people, and about what it means to truly feel at home in a scent.
When I arrived in America, I was struck by something I hadn’t expected: how vast and alive this country is. Each state has its own energy, its own light, its own character. And I thought — every one of these places deserves its own fragrance. So I started writing. Not with words, but with scent.
